We got our first postcard! Today our morning and afternoon groups met with Ms. Sandy in the library to open their FIRST envelope.
"It's from Boston! They wrote us a letter, drew us a picture, sent a postcard, AND sent these." -Ms. Sandy
"They're leaves!", children said as they passed around the laminated colored leaves to each other.
We discovered that we have a lot in common with the children in Boston. We celebrate Halloween and have fall, too! We looked at the map of the US to find where Boston is and noticed something interesting.
"What's all that blue stuff around the area?" -Mrs. Surniak
"WATER!" -children
"So they live by the ocean!" -Mrs. Surniak
